🎥🏉 I had an incredible experience creating a cinematic video documentary for Stockton Rugby Club! The project consisted of interviews with key players and the coach, as well as footage captured using drones while the team played a match. ☀️🚁 The sunny day made for great lighting conditions, and the use of drones allowed me to capture some truly stunning aerial shots of the players in action. I was amazed by the skill and dedication of everyone on the team, and it was an honour to be able to document the start of their season. The interviews were a highlight of the project for me, as I was able to learn more about the team's history, their strategies for success, and the bonds that exist between the players. Hearing from the coach about his vision for the team and his leadership style was also incredibly inspiring. As I worked on editing the footage, I was struck by the passion and energy that the team brings to every game. It was a joy to be able to share their story through this video, and I hope that it will inspire others to appreciate the beauty and excitement of rugby. We had the pleasure of shooting a short cinematic video for C.W Roofing. The location was Manchester and the job was spread out over 4 visits within a 5-week period. We had to do this so we could catch the progress of the job. The client wanted some epic drone shots to really demo the quality of work they produce. Mr Z's most popular video to date stacking a staggering 100k views on YouTube. We settled on the idea of a black and white concept early and focused heavily on the editing/transitions to make the video overly erratic. We had to improvise with lighting by using vehicle headlights which added a more gritty effect to the overall edit. This music video was extremely fun to shoot, it had a tight deadline with only a day shoot. So we utilised the surrounding locations of the studio including a road overpass and surrounding streets. For the indoor scenes, we used the Raid studio for that clean open space scene along with the corridor in the building to give it an industrial look.
